What is the main thing customers love about Citadel?

With the setup wizard, online help and complimentary, bespoke training, customers can be up and running in no time.
Our friendly UK support team are always there to assist them during setup and whenever further assistance is required.
Remember – there are no hidden charges for Citadel support!

What do you like about Citadel?

Citadel allows the customer to set up multiple policies for overtime, benefits, clocking management, schedules and many other business rules.
These policies can then be combined and applied to different roles, projects, shifts or jobs within the business.
This gives Citadel class leading flexibility, usually only available in much more expensive T&A systems.

When you’re not at work, what are your hobbies?

Cycling, walking, cooking and a weekly game of skittles.

Apart from Chronologic, where’s your favourite place in the world?

It is all too easy to become blasé about home and your surroundings.
We live in a beautiful part of the world, surrounded by glorious countryside and a stunning coastline only an hour away.
There really is no place like home…

Nothing can beat cycling the beautifully tranquil Mendip Hills
Oh, and there is a pub just over the horizon – my perfect day!

What’s something that you think customers should know about Citadel?

Our Pay Period Report totals all hours for a given Date Range, to allow you to easily report on Hours or Gross Pay for Payroll.
Hidden away at the top right corner of the Pay Period report is a little pair of arrows

Clicking the bottom arrow changes the Pay Period Report into a very powerful Job Costing Report, where Hours or Gross Pay are broken down by Departments or by Employee, by a user defined Date Range.

By default, the report automatically applies any Overtime or Breaks to the Working Department, allowing hours or pay to be accurately assigned to Projects, Jobs, Shifts or Departments. MAGIC!

What’s the best thing about the Citadel terminal?

Versatility – The Citadel OB3000 time clock provides multiple clocking options, Biometric, PIN or RFID.
It has the advantages of store and forward technology, LAN or Wi-Fi connectivity and a battery backup.
There is also the option to set up breaks and department transfers, which allows employees to add their time to jobs, departments or cost centres.

How do you think Citadel will do in a post-COVID future?

Citadel is ready!
Our software is completely cloud based, so your account can be managed from anywhere with internet access.
This also means that there are no expensive, office based, servers for your business to purchase or maintain.
We have web clocking – ideal for users working remotely via a pc or laptop.
We have a fully featured app which allows users to clock from a smartphone or tablet, either globally or from “ring fenced” locations.
And the Citadel OB3000 timeclock has RFID technology “built in” to allow contactless clocking using Citadel swipe cards.
